With our new school calendar shifted two weeks up, it seems like all of the end-of-the-year hoopla is compounded by two! Needless to say, time has NOT been on my side. Alas, baby is down and coffee’s been had. I wanted to incorporate more map data this year, hopefully this keeps us interested. While creating/updating this infographic, I found/used a website called ColorBrewer to find a decent color gradient for my choropleth maps. ColorBrewer brands itself as giving color advice for maps-exactly what I was looking for. Way to go Penn State!
Compiling all of the data from 51 different Excel spreadsheets was the bear here, but once everything was compiled, I used Piktochart’s nice map/charting feature to create a choropleth map that I easily inserted into the presentation. For now, it is meant for web-viewing. I will need time to create a static version. And without further adoo….adieux………adieu….the 2016 AP Human Geography Exam Breakdown (eagerly awaiting the 2017 questions).
Good luck this Friday everyone!
Hi there. Ken Keller here.
Would you be willing to promote iScore5 review app along with the other test prep books you mention here on your website?
We would be willing to gift you a copy if you don’t have one already and a few more as giveaways in any other form or fashion you might like.
Thanks for all you do for the APHG community.
Many thanks, Ken, Paul and Greg
